Gardening with a Smile was founded in 2024 by Alex and Noah, two friends who grew up in the countryside and never really lost the pull of it. Between the green fields of East Sussex and the villages of Hampshire, we both spent our childhoods in and around nature, learning early on how grounding it feels to get your hands in the soil. That feeling never gets old.

For both of us, gardening has always been about more than just plants. It is about being outside, breathing fresh air, watching things grow, and the quiet satisfaction of leaving somewhere looking better than you found it. We are also just two people who genuinely love chatting, sharing a cup of tea, and making someone's day a little brighter. Gardening gives you all of that at once and we feel pretty lucky to do it for a living.

That love never went anywhere. Between us we have over a decade of experience gardening across London, helping hundreds of people with everything from overgrown back gardens, planting, pruning, garden maintenance, hedge cutting, odd jobs, and everything in between. We know London gardens well and we love them.

When we decided to team up properly under Gardening with a Smile it just made sense. Two friends, a shared love of the outdoors, and a simple idea: leave things better than you found them. Gardens, people's days, and the world beyond the garden gate.

We are a small team and we like it that way. Every garden gets our full attention, every client gets people who genuinely care, and no matter the weather, you will always find us smiling. We can't wait to make your garden smile too.
